Sharon Stone has adopted a third child, it has been announced.

The 47-year-old star of the film Basic Instinct has added newborn Quinn to Six six-year-old Roan and 15-month-old Laird, according to Bang Media.

Stone has given all three children gaelic names, with Quinn meaning 'counsel' in English.

It's been a busy time for Stone, who was recently pictured by Hello magazine at an Aids charity fundraising event in California.

As well as adopting Quinn and attending the fundraising event, Stone also has the premiere of her latest film, 'Bobby', to look forward to.
