Two years is a long time in dance, so it's testament to the wondrous classic qualities of Shapeshifters' 'Lola's Theme' that it still sounds fresh on their debut album, so long after its 2004 release. The album itself, as you'd guess from the latest single 'Incredible', is pure easy-on-the-ears summer house, all exuberant brass toots, leaping string sections and bouncy beats.

'Sound Advice' falls right in line with a solid tradition of just-this-side-of-cheese, dancefloor-friendly music; there's nothing challenging about it, but it's lovingly made and would make a good mood-lifting addition to any collection.
